This year for me seems to be the year of experimentation. I’ve been trying new things, visiting new places, trying new foods and of course trying new styles of clothing. Previously if you had opened my wardrobe and looked at my trousers you’d probably see a vast array of different jeans and maybe the odd pair of chinos if you’re lucky. However, this year things have been different. I’ve been wearing a lot of patterned trousers, leaving the comfort zone of my black skinny jeans far behind me. To my surprise there’s one particular pattern that seems to have made a lasting impression on me; and that’s checks. Checkered jackets, checkered shorts checkered trousers. Doesn’t really matter what it is, I want all the checks please.
I saw these pair of grey checkered sweatpants in Bershka when shopping for summer clothes and instantly fell in love. They’re comfortable, look great and are perfect for dressing up a casual outfit or dressing down something a bit smarter. Unfortunately they have now sold out. Fear not though as I have included some of my favourite checkered trousers below that are very similar and just as nice, so you to can join me on my checkered craze.
